Beacon Hill Nursery School announces their annual summer programming for 2011, packed with creative learning adventures for children aged 2 to 6 years old. The school’s unique summer program offers a valuable mixed age group experience, open to all children, with EEC qualified teachers in a stimulating and nurturing environment. The facilities of BHNS, including the classrooms, library, lunchroom, air-conditioned gymnasium and outdoor playgrounds, make this camp experience one that is unmatched in the Boston community! Rain or Shine, your children are guaranteed to have a fantastic time!

Each week of the program includes activities such as arts & crafts, in-house field trips, music, yoga, pretend & free play, science & nature, stories, and water play! Additionally, the weeks are themed to provide an in-depth exploration of the things kids love best. Themes such as Animal Adventures, Nature in the City, and Summer Theatre will be complemented with in-house field trips from Curious Creatures, Puddle Stompers, and Puppet Shows! New for summer 2011 – the one of a kind outdoor natural playscape with a nature program built into each weekly theme. This is a perfect opportunity for your child to watch a piece of nature change through the season – feed birds in the garden, plant vegetables, and check out the blueberry bushes for snack!

The summer camp program runs weekly for 10 weeks beginning June 20-Aug 26th and runs from 8:30am-1pm. All children must enroll in a five day program, except for toddlers (2.0-2.8) who may attend either 2 or 3 days. Price per week is $405 and due upon registration. Children do not need to be potty-trained. For more information, please call Tracey Lawler at 617-227-0822 or download the application available at
