In the morning and afternoon, children are offered a nutritious snack. Children who attend Kindergarten and those who are enrolled in the Toddler, Kaleidoscope and Rainbow classes bring their own lunches.

Lunches should be packaged in shatterproof lunchboxes. Perishable items need to be protected with freezer packs and/or insulated containers. There is a microwave available.

PLEASE REMEMBER: SNACKS AND LUNCHES MUST NOT CONTAIN NUTS OR NUT PRODUCTS

  • cut veggies with salad dressing dips
  • cut fruit with yogurt dips
  • pretzels with hummus
  • taco chips with salsa
  • soy butter sandwiches
  • crackers and cheese
  • tuna on whole wheat or pita bread
  • shakes with fresh fruit
  • small tortilla wraps with cream cheese
  • mini-waffles /li>
  • raisin bread
  • bagels or mini-muffins without nuts
  • dried fruit

They are more likely to eat it when they have helped to make it.
