Color Mixing, Fall Sensory, and Building Fine Motor Skills
Updated: Oct 13
We added some colors to our science experiment to see if it would help melt the ice. We discovered that combining yellow and red makes ORANGE!!

Classroom choice time was filled with new engaging provocations for us to explore.
Ms. Sheryl came to visit us today and brought a gluing project for us to practice our fine motor skills. Our hands worked hard to squeeze out the glue and select colorful pieces to add to our collages.
Rain rain go away! Since it was a VERY rainy day, the Orange class headed to the gym for some gross motor fun!
After reading "Mix It UP!" at morning meeting, we did some color mixing of our own. We all had a turn to add RED or YELLOW liquid to an empty cup to see which new color it would make.

The Orange class has really been into colors, color mixing, and collaborative works of art. Stay tuned to see what other colors we will create this week!!
