We started off with blobs of red, yellow, and blue paint on a large sheet of paper. We covered the paint with bubble wrap and got right to work. Our fingers smooshed, popped, and pressed the colors together. We also discovered that we could slide our hands across the bubble wrap to make the colors blend faster.

"I see GREEN!!!"
"I see GREEN!!!"
"I see PINK!!!"
"I see PINK!!!"

The end result was a beautiful mix of primary colors. What a colorful creation!!

Playground JOY!

We further explored colors in many other areas of the classroom.

We read "We're Going on a Leaf Hunt" during meeting and we squished and squashed in our boots and shoes as we gathered different colored leaves.

There are several songs that your children now ask for by name. Apple Tree and Chicken Soup are the two most requested. They also enjoy singing The More We Get Together and we are working on learning some signs (ASL) to accompany the lyrics.
