Happy Wednesday, Everyone!
Color of the Week: Orange
Observational Drawings
We did our orange observational drawings today! Friends got to choose between several orange pictures and draw them on a piece of white paper at the big table. It is so amazing to see how determined students are when trying to draw these pictures. We have to use our eyes to see all of the colors and shapes in the picture and transfer those to our own papers. We are so impressed with the Purple Roomer's abilities to sit and complete this task!
Question of the Day
Today's question of the day was... Which ORANGE animal do you like more? A Tiger or a Goldfish? After all the votes were in, we counted them up and determined which animal got the MOST votes! We then sang the song "Slippery Fish" to go along with one of our animals up on the board!

Sharing All About Me Books at Second Meeting
Another friend got to share their All About Me Book with us today! Mara was invited to come up with Ms. Amy and share her book with the whole class. Afterwards, we discussed as a class any questions we had and what we enjoyed about Mara's book!
Snapshots of the Day
Today's choices were...
Water trays with orange ocean animals
Construction sand station
Play-dough cooking with orange loose parts
Open-ended play with small animals and containers
Light table exploration
